Kathy Boren is a 40-year plus veteran of the title industry, embarking on her title insurance career as a summer intern immediately after graduating from Purdue University. She started as a searcher/abstractor and then as an examiner and closer, and has been examining and underwriting primarily commercial transactions since 1999. Her experience includes commercial, agricultural, and development transactions, as well as public-private partnerships for municipal redevelopment projects. She is a licensed resident title producer in Indiana, and is also licensed in Michigan, Ohio, Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
Kathy has developed and presented seminars, training sessions, and continuing legal education for attorneys, paralegals, commercial realtors, and mortgage bankers covering Tiitle insurance and Surveys, Title Insurance Fundamentals, ALTA Endorsements, Construction and Title Insurance, and Easements and Encroachments. She has been a presenter/instructor for the Indiana Land Title Association and Indianapolis Bar Association.
Home for Kathy is Noblesville, Indiana, where she enjoys spending time with extended family. She has two adult children and is a cat mom to Ginny, Shelly, and Lily. She regularly attends Zumba classes, runs with the Carmel Runners Club and is a season ticket holder to the Carmel Symphony Orchestra. She enjoys reading, watching movies, attending farmer’s markets and the occasional wine tasting.
