Near North Title Group Acquires Lawyers Advantage Florida Operations
Attorney-Employee Ratio Increases with Strategic Positioning in Florida
CHICAGO, IL – June 5, 2020 – In a move that compliments the Florida operations of one of the Midwest’s strongest title and escrow agents, Near North Title Group announces the acquisition of Lawyers Advantage Title Group. The strategic alliance combines the infrastructure and capabilities of Near North’s industry-leading platform to compliment Lawyers Advantage’s 30+ years of service.

Founded in 1989 by Jon and Kay Sandler who laid the foundation for a successful Florida operation, Lawyers Advantage has established a legacy of providing the Florida real estate community with exemplary title insurance and escrow closing services. The Lawyers Advantage staff enjoys a longstanding relationship with institutional clients including the US Fish and Wildlife Service, the National Park Service, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and Habitat for Humanity Orlando. Their expertise will enhance Near North’s ability to service its national clients.
Lawyers’ ownership included prominent real estate attorney Alan Sandler, who will assume the role of Vice President of Florida Operations as he manages the offices throughout the state.

He will be joined by Regional Account Executive Pilar Bermejo, who will be servicing the south Florida market.
The two existing Florida locations add to Near North’s 20 Midwest offices and will operate in the Orlando and Miami area under the Near North brand, continuing the same service tradition that clients have associated with Lawyers Advantage for over 30 years.
