Rob Karsa was well-known and respected throughout the title insurance industry. With his extensive experience and strong passion for helping others, Rob was always a go-to team player who had a positive impact on our organization and everyone who had the pleasure of meeting him.
He began his career in the early 80’s and his extensive expertise was a result of the positions he held as a commercial examiner, title supervisor, training officer, marketing manager and title officer. Rob spent many years with Chicago Title as well as his own consulting firm before joining the Near North family in January 2016.
Rob had an undergraduate degree from Loyola University, a Paralegal Degree from Roosevelt University and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from North Central College. He was Co-Chairman of the Education Committee of the Illinois Land Title Association from 2005-2008 and presented over 250 educational training and seminars to examiners underwriters, lenders, and law firms.
Our hearts and prayers go out to his family, friends, and colleagues. Rob’s deep loyalty and genuine spirit will always be a part of us at Near North. He will truly be missed but will not be forgotten.
