Near North Title Group is pleased to welcome David Scott as Account Executive in the Illinois market. David began his career in the title business in 1979, working for a title insurance agent for 17 years, Ticor Title Insurance Company for 5 years, and then worked for a large national title insurer family of underwriters for 22 years, before recently joining Near North Title Group. During that time he worked in all aspects of title/escrow and agency operations while also being published in title industry publications and has presented Continuing Legal Education classes on a variety of subjects, most recently Cyber Security issues facing the settlement services industry.

David graduated with a BA in History/Political Science from Eastern Illinois University. He currently resides in Oswego, IL with his wife and youngest daughter and enjoys reading, watching old movies and sports.
