Near North Title Group Announces Acquisition of Mason Title & Escrow Company Operations from AmTrust Financial
Acquisition Expands Near North’s Florida Presence to 16 Offices
CHICAGO, IL – October 8, 2026 – Near North Title Group (“Near North”), a national title insurance agency with 65 offices across the Midwest and Florida, announced today the acquisition of the Mason Title & Escrow Company business (“Mason Title”) from AmTrust Financial Services, Inc. (“AmTrust Financial”). The transaction expands Near North’s presence across Florida while supporting AmTrust Financial’s subsidiary, AmTrust Title Insurance Company (“AmTrust Title”), and its strategic focus on strengthening its agency division and underwriting capabilities throughout the state.
With the addition of Mason Title’s experienced team and eight Florida offices, Near North will expand its Florida footprint from eight to sixteen locations, creating a statewide presence spanning from Miami through Tampa, Jacksonville and the Florida Panhandle. The acquisition strengthens Near North’s ability to serve customers, attorneys, lenders, developers and real estate professionals across all major Florida markets.
Under the Near North brand, Mason Title’s leadership team and employees will continue serving their clients with the same local expertise, relationships, and market knowledge that have defined the company’s reputation for more than 18 years. By integrating Mason Title’s established Florida operations into Near North’s national platform, clients will benefit from enhanced resources, expanded capabilities and broader geographic reach.
